Love this place! Authentic antiques... special place for those looking for just the right piece! Bought a wall cupboard and it finishes off my 1806 farmhouse kitchen perfectly! Enjoyable owner!! Will be back!!
Overly expensive items. Owner impolite and wouldn't let a little girl use the bathroom. Don't waste your time.
While there inventory is decent, their prices are exorbitant. Plan on bringing at least a few thousand dollars if you are intent on buying. You will be lucky to get some friendly assistance. The gentleman who was working there seemed to be annoyed at any inquiries into details regarding the furniture and seemed to have better things to do than be helpful. If you expend the energy to drive out there during cold weather you better bring a coat- they don't bother heating 65% of the space that contains inventory which made it nearly impossible to spend anytime looking at what they had. Save your money and drive another 15 miles up the road to better prices, comparable inventory, and much more personality and class. Hogback boasts to be the largest antique store in Vermont- perhaps the largest waste of time in Vermont.
